Hello and welcome to a little corner of my world. It's a gray day in the city during that time of year when winter is over and spring hasn't started. It looks like snow will bypass me this year.. a little disappointed about that.
It's Sunday - my little house is clean, the laundry is folded, the dry cleaning is picked up, the car is washed, and the inbox is ready for another week. After a long walk, I finally found a Dupont coffee house with an open seat, and here I sit typing this while sipping hot coffee. Not at the same time.
It's been an uneventful week. In spite of the shenanigans on Capitol Hill. The world goes on below us.
Friday evening I made a quick trip to PA via Baltimore airport. I had the tires rotated on the car at my favorite tire shop, retrieved the mountain bike out of storage, then returned to DC. The mountain biking scene here is very non-existent. I've seen a few unmarked trails with knobby tracks during my hikes in VA and MD. Regardless, monument rides at night are always spectacular.
Saturday afternoon I planned to hit up some museums with a friend but that impetus sagged with the droopy weather. We decided that a marathon of Homeland with takeout would be more fitting for the day. It was.
Here's to feeling extremely lazy and all productive at the same time.
